this appetizer idea originated from the infamous chippy boys, but I wanted to put a fancified flair on it. Ok so yes you do need an oven, but for literally 3-5 minutes, so hopefully your host can spare you that, it will be worth it.
TOTAL TIME: 5 minutes
SERVES: 6-10
1 bag truffle chips (or plain)
1/2 cup finely grated parmesan
4-6 slices of prosciutto
Hot honey (regular honey is fine too)
Make your chips. Dump your bag of chips into a single layer on a sheet pan. Top with a shit ton of finely grated parm. Broil or bake at 400F (or any temp really) for a couple minutes until chips start to turn golden.
Remove from oven and immediately top with prosciutto - ripping it into bite-size chunks similar size to the chips. Drizzle with hot honey.
Plate immediately on a small plate/bowl so you can layer the chips into a tower and the prosciutto warms between the layers. Top with more cheese and serve.
Anything else? Drop a comment below if you have any questions, and don’t forget to let me know if you make it!
