miso butter salmon
TOTAL TIME: 10 minutes
SERVES: 2
Protein
2 servings salmon
Milk & Dairy
2 tbsp butter
Pantry
2 tbsp white miso
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
Produce
Green onions for topping
Mix sauce. Preheat broiler on high.
To a small bowl, add butter and melt slightly in microwave so it's soft but still a bit chunky. Add in miso, soy sauce and sugar and mix well. It may be a bit clumpy and that's ok.
Cook salmon. Place salmon skin side down on a lined baking sheet and smother with sauce. Broil on high for 3-6 minutes depending on thickness of salmon. (I did 4 minutes for a thin cut of wild Pacific salmon).
Remove from heat and serve with rice and spicy Korean coleslaw (recipe found here)
